The problem is for each operating system I've had I've only used 1 or 2 types of antivirus programs, I know which I prefer for Win 95, 98, Millennium, XP and 7, I've been very happy with one that work well on 98 but wasn't happy with it on XP, so I'm not sure how I could compare them or say which was the best. I've used it for years, and have no problems, it runs well on W10 Pro 圆4.īe advised however, to pay attention with the installer, make sure you un check anything not related to the program so nothing gets installed except the security suite, also click on custom install, and uncheck stuff like Geek Buddy, this isn't needed. I use this "Free" Security Suite called COMODO, its rated as good as any of these things and it is free, a total package AV, FW, and anti malware.
That said, something is better than nothing.
As far as "security" goes, nothing is 100%, if it was developed by "man" it is crack-able/hack-able.
